Bio

Paul is a native of Bethel, CT and has spent the past 26 years in the golf business. What started out as a game became a passion and a career for Paul. He then moved to the south to future his career. Working the in Myrtle Beach area he found his love for teaching the game of golf to all skill levels. After getting his PGA card in 1996 Paul moved back to CT. Working at CT Golf Center under Marsha Dolen as Head Teaching Professional, Paul then learned how to teach students, not just a golf swing. After many years Pauls’ beliefs are simple, you teach a student how to swing for themselves with the shape and flexibility that they have, not just teach one to everyone.

While in Florida, Paul has hosted his own Television show, “Golfing with Paul E. Kenny” as well as writing articles for the local newspaper. In Paul’s off time he works hard on his own game, playing on the mini tours with some success, he believes that it is important to know how all the students feel when they play in tournament golf. Paul’s laid back style of teaching helps with communication with his students, keeping it simple for the students to understand the golf swing and the game, making it more enjoyable. Paul now works at Kings Ridge Golf Club in Clermont, FL as the Director of Instruction. Please check with Paul for his rates and lesson plans, which will revolve around your schedule.
